Its Snowing Paper!

Hello loves!

I don't know about you, but I just finished my finals! (Well ok, not technically I have to do a sign language final on Monday which involves signing but done with written finals!)

And I made about 350 notecards. Yup. So what to do with all these notecards? Uhm...make snowflakes...DUH!

So here are my easy steps to make a paper snow flake out of notecards!

**DISCLAIMER: YOU MAY CUT YOUR FINGER WHILE DOING THIS. NO, REALLY, I ALMOST DID BECAUSE THIS IS FREAKING HARD ON SUCH A SMALL SCALE!!! THIS CAN BE DANGEROUS! :) **

(Sorry its the law student in me)

1. STEP ONE: Locate your index cards! Oh!

002

2. STEP TWO: Fold your index card in this manner to create a square! Yeah uhm, just look at the picture ;)

004

3. STEP THREE: Cut and discard of the non folded side!

005

4. STEP FOUR: Wait why am I numbering and then saying the step number when it obviously corresponds...ANYWHOZIE. Fold triangle like so! I like to use a bone folder from Martha Stewart. No really, it makes a great crease! Haha!

006

007

(In liu of bone folder, a pen works!)

5. STEP FIVE: Begin to cut out triangle like shapes. Or any. Triangles are easy for those of us who consider stick figures to be art. DO NOT FOLD FURTHER BECAUSE YOU WILL CUT YOURSELF AND THE SNOWFLAKE. TRUST ME.

008

6. STEP SIX: Unfold and Tada!

013

BONUS! What to do with all those little cut out pieces? Why slip them into a special someone's Christmas card. Special someone being someone you don't care for or who hates confetti and messes! Haaha I kid!!

015

024

Last year my best friend and I covered my room in full size snowflakes, they're much easier to make on a larger scale!!
006

Paper snowflakes are a great way to bring Christmas cheer to your dorm room when your school decides to ban Christmas trees and Christmas lights...!

Holiday Tag!

Hello Lovelies!

I thought I'd celebrate being half way done with my finals by doing a cute holiday tag going around YT! I tag YOU! Either as a blog or video response, I'd love to see! Christmas is my favorite time of the year and I love hearing other people's traditions because they vary so much and its so interesting!

1. Favorite holiday destination?
HOME! I personally think its stupid to go away to some place exotic for the holidays (unless you have family there!). The holidays are about being with your family at your home!

2. Any family traditions?
Well most, almost all, of these from when I was 9 and under because after 9 years, my parents were divorced and Christmases are different every year!

* Christmas Eve:
My family and I would always go to my Aunt and Uncles for a good old Italian feast with my Uncle's famous meatballs stealing the show. THEY ARE THE BEST MEATBALLS EVEEEER. We'd open the presents "Santa" left there a bit early! And enjoy the company on my dad's side of the family!
We'd then go to "Elvis'" house. (Any of ya from New Jersey and know what I'm talking about?!) It wasn't actually Elvis' house but rather an impersonator who would go OVERBOARD with the Christmas lights on his mansion! It was freaking INSANE! Millions of lights and bumper to bumper traffic but it looked awesome!
We'd finish of the night with the late night candlelight church service, which are always my fav!

* Christmas:
No one could sleep, haha I still can't! Even though I'm a snoop and know everything I'm getting! Its still exciting! Anyways Santa would always leave our stockings our bedroom doorknobs! So when we woke up at like 4 0r 5 in the morning, we'd have our stockings to go through and occupy us until our parents woke up! (My mom still does that for me haha!)
Then we'd pretty much spend the whole morning opening presents before going to my Grandma's for my mom's side of the family. My mom is one of 5 so there'd be lots of presents Santa would leave at my Grandma's! My Grandma and mom both still sign everything from Santa! : )

3. Favorite ornament of decoration?
I love my stocking! It was hand stitched by my Mom! I def. want to do that for my kids, one day! I have too many ornaments that I love!

4. What are you doing for the holidays?
Spending it here in NY at my Grandma's since it would be silly me for travel (which is like 5 hours away) home to spend Christmas Eve and day at home and then come back to NY to visit with my fam! But my Grandma doesn't like to decorate from Christmas, boo! Not even a tiny tree!

5.Are you a late or early Christmas shopper?
Early! Gotta get those deals early!

6. Who usually cooks holiday dinners?
My family, though I once cooked a kick ass turkey for Thanksgiving!

7. Have you ever gone Christmas caroling?
I think a few times with my youth group but I HAVE been in a few Christmas pagents at my church and school. I always wanted to be Mary but was always an angel. Hahaha!

8. Do you live where it snows?
Yeah! Northeast, baby! I love white Christmases!

9. One thing that makes you happiest at Christmas?
Family! Christmas music, decorations, lights, movies, everything! Even the malls, haha!

10. What do you want most for Christmas?
Of course, world peace and for my family and friends to be happy, healthy and safe! But a new TV, some makeup and DVDs wouldn't hurt! (See a few posts back lol! I did the wishlist tag)

11. I'm adding this...Favorite Christmas movies?
ELF. The Santa Clause I (and one only!) Peaunt's Christmas, Its a Wonderful Life, Rudolph, the Bishops' Wife, the classics except Frosty. I saw it for the first time a couple years ago and it left me saying WTF!?

PHEW THAT WAS LONG! Haha sorry!

024

Childhood house! So thats a big "YES" to the snow question!

020

My dog's, mine and my Mom's!

Tell me in the comments if you're gonna do this!

BIG PIMPIN ON MY NAILS

Hello lovelies!

I thought I'd do a quick little review for ya, being that I have a second to come out from behind the books and can take photos and do a review!

Todaaay's review is on Sephora by OPI's Holiday 2009 nailpolish, "Worth my Weight". I have never tried a Sephora by OPI but I had a gift card and its all I could afford so why not! Don't get me wrong I love my holiday reds but ever since I bought them back in September, I've been wearing them all the time! Thought it was time for a festive gold!

This color is a super chunky sparkly gold with silver chunky sparkles that are multi reflective. Phew! And its like the bling fairy (or Flava Flaaav) blinged out my nails. Its that blinged!

I only got this today so I don't know about the chipping however I tried to see how easy it is to remove with a nail polish remover. I think you need paint thinner to this off! It applies thickly and kinda weird but I'm enjoying it! You don't see too many gold nails!

002

Be happy I'm not one of those bloggers who shows you the sticker on the bottom, hahaha. I think you all believe me that is called "Worth my Weight"

009

This is with flash. I know my paint job is horrible. By the way, this is WITHOUT a top clear coat. I'm all out, another reason why I wanted a sparkly chunky polish!

** OMFG! I interupt this blog post because "White Christmas" by Hanson just came on. THEY HAD A CHRISTMAS ALBUM?! **

007

This is sans flash. And self explanatory haha.

I'm gonna start rating products. This would be a nice 7/10. The product is kinda gloopy and I think OPI is overpriced. This can be bought at Sephora stores or Sephora.com for $9 (FOR A DOLLA MORE I COULD GET SOMEONE TO PAINT IT ON, just sayin!)

♥ Chelsea

Have you ever tried Sephora by OPI polishes?

Dear Santa,

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

I've been enjoying my little break but DREADING getting back to school! Because December means one thing to college students: END OF THE SEMESTER! Professors start to really cram in everything into the few classes that are left. Like really cram. If they say the syllabus covers the material up to chapter 16 and its taken you since September to read the first 8, well then the remaining 8 chapters will be crammed into the remaining 2 or 3 classes. Then of course FINALS. And projects and papers!

So before that madness starts, I thought I'd do a fun tag that I saw was done last year on Youtube. A "Whats on Your Wishlist" tag. And for fun, and since I'm home, I thought I'd include some old photos!

So what is on my wishlist this year? (Ahem, my realistic wishlist!)

1. A 19 inch Flat Screen HDTV! I have a relic in my dorm room now that is not only smaller than my 17 in laptop screen (I think the TV is like 11 in) but takes up sooooo much space with its tube ass! Not to mention its about 10 years old and showing its age!

2. Makeup! Shocker! But I feel less guilty when it comes as a gift haha ;)
  • MAC E/S: Cork, Vanilla (A basic crease and highlight) and more all over lid colors! Any suggestions? I'm fair with cool undertones and red hair, so basically any suggestions for Gingahs?
  • MAC Dazzleglasses: Underage. Right now my lip collection consists of one balm and 1 Revlon Colorstay lip gloss. Not even kidding. Also, any suggestions?!
  • MAC Lipsticks: Angel. Don't own a freaking lipstick. I had Rimmel's "Airy Fairy" or whatever the hell and guess what? I was allergic to it! My freaking throat felt like it was closing up!
  • Pink Sugar Perfume: I've been wanting this for a while.
  • NARS' Orgasam Blush: Wanting for YEARS! I think I will finally splurge, the $25 price tag is what has held me back! But its a staple!
  • Nail Polishes
(Yes I'm now loving MAC, the old me would be like "Giiiiirl, you could buy 3 CoverGirl eyeshadows for the price of one MAC shadow! But come on, the quality and colors and pigmentation is amazing!!)

3. Maybe Law & Order: SVU Season 1? I'm getting hooked and want to start from the beginning but they're pricey! Maybe if I can get a good coupon or else I'll have to take advantage of my mom's DVR!

Thats it! And of course for all my family, friends and loved ones to be healthy and happy! What is on your wishlist?

022

Proof my hair is au naturale! I must be like 5 0r 6!

023

I think age 6?! I got everything on my list :)

025

WTF is a magic stroller baby?! I must google...a baby that turns into a stroller?! (Update: Googled and OMG! I remember! http://www.retrojunk.com/details_commercial/7508/) And I'm glad I clarified on #3 that I wanted to drive it! Must have been 7ish? Got nothing on that list haha!

Anywhos! I tag you to share whats your holiday wishlist!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to wish you a happy, and safe, Thanksgiving!

I truly have a lot to be thankful for and been blessed with.

There is so much to be thankful for, from having an amazing and irreplaceable and crazy family and friends (who feel like family), being able to get an education and have good health to a place to call home and knowing I always have someone to rely on!

There is so much to be grateful for!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Lets hit the Books!

So it was requested by the lovely, xXAllieCosmeticsxX, to share my study tips!

I am by no means a professional study skiller? I just have a ton of experience and have found out that this system helps me be the most successful! Mind you, this is what I do at a college level!

Before Class
In High School/College, most teachers/professors will give you a syllabus. This is magic. On it teachers will usually say what they are doing that day. So what do I do? Read the chapter(s) before hand! This will give you a good grasp on what will be taught and make it less confusing.

Next, if you're super hardcore, take notes on said chapter. Obviously you can't highlight the crap out of school issued books but just take down some notes. This way you don't need to be scribbling like crazy during class! You'll already have the notes! Because I bought all my books, I do highlight and then just type up what I highlighted.

During Class
  • Organize! I can't stress how important it is to take notes in an organized manor!
  • Keep common ideas together. I like to leave one line in between seperate ideas. Your notes will look less intimidating rather than line after line after line of notes, divide everything!
  • Write in shorthand! Pretend your tweeting! Instead saying "without" write "w/o" or "gov" instead of "government", etc. Sometimes I'll right down a key for commonly used phrases in that page of notes. Sometimes I'll do single letter abbreviations. Less to write!

After Class
  • I'd say don't wait until the last minute but I'd be lying. Haha!
  • Make note cards your new BFF. On one side I'll write a word and the other side of the note card, I'll write the definition. Or I'll phrase my notes into a question and put the answer on the back. Or do a fill in the blank!

Example from my notes:
Small depts. don't differ. between patrol + investigations b/c P are considered generalists.

  1. First, see how I abbreviate an shortened everything? Depts. instead of departments, differ. instead of differentiate, etc. and I say "P" instead of police (its a criminal justice policing course so of course I'll be using writing police a lot!)
  2. Second, on a note card I would write on the front: "Why don't small depts. differ. between patrol + investigations?" and on the back I'd write "Because P are considered generalists"

Its kinda almost not really like a game.

And thats all I do for tests! I usually only go over my notecards 1 or 2 and I'll get it! By doing everything I mentioned, it becomes almost set in stone. Now, I get a little notecard happy and can easily make 200-500 for one midterm or final! Do what you think you should!

Finally, don't be afraid to talk to your teacher/professor. It shows them a lot when you show them that you're concerned and care about your grades! Sometimes they'll bump up your score a little ;)

Good luck!

A Persbeaonaluty Post!

Persbeaonaluty is obviously the love child of two words, "personal" and "beauty". So this entry will have a little of both, since they're interrelated.

Yes, I know I haven't been updating much. In fact I should be studying mass spectrometry but I'm going to be up late anyways!

As you can probably assume, I've been busy with school! I had midterms a couple weeks ago and now I have midterms again?! Because one wasn't obviously enough. So my time and energy has been spent studying!

I have also been pretty sure on my major lately! I just don't know what I want to do with my degree in Criminal Justice. Law school? FBI? Forensics? But I love studying criminal justice. In fact next semester, which I register for tonight at 12:01 AM, I'll be taking a good amount of major courses and minor courses (my minor being Forensics).

Nothing fun to post about. When I'm not studying I'm usually half awake and watching Law & Order or NCIS or sleeping.

Now onto the beauty. I'm slowly becoming a big MAC fan. I much rather spend a few more dollars and get a good, high quality and pigmented product. So I saved some of money and got a few things. And have been using them daily. 2 being the Fluidline and 209, which I reviewed in the previous post. And the other 2 being "All that Glitters" eyeshadow and "Rubensque" paint pot. Let me tell y'all right now, that combo brings out my blue eyes!

And lately its all I have been wearing! Its takes less than 5 minutes (that's with liner and mascara). Use my ring finger to apply some Rubensque to the lid and then pat some All That Glitters on.

Rubenesque is a gorgeous goldy-peachy-shimmery base. And All That Glitters is a gorgeous peachy-pinky-browny shadoe.

Ignore my manly hand and blonde arm hair! Hahaha

Don't Be Whack, Make Sure Yo Track is Black!

I swear I won't just be reviewing freaking black eyeliner. But you see, my L'oreal liquid liner with the super long name was getting clumpy and dying a slow and painful death. Not to mention I kept messing it up as I rushed!

So I decided to go back to gel liner. But not to L'oreal HIP. I mean HIP is good but not great. It doesn't give me all day stay and fades to gray (dude, that totally rhymes, I'm gonna bust a beat haha) and is more flakey than Frosted Flakes. Its really only good for a one night stand. And was only a few bucks less than MAC.

And the Coastal Scents? Uhm yeah $6 sounds good but near $8 for shipping? What the pineapple?! Plus my eyes are sensative and freak out and they aren't exactly very well known in the outside world (sorry and their site is kinda sketch, it reminds me of a bad Asian restraunt).

That leaves MAC's fluidline. Blacktrack fluidline to be exact. My MAC cherry was gonna be popped for $15 (I need to rate this blog like freaking PG-13).

So I applied it the next morning at 7 AM. And kept checking on it during the day. Gray? Nope. Flakes? Nope. Smudge? Negative. Then at 3 AM, like 15 hours later when I removed my makeup it looked the same. Just like when I applied it.

SAY WHAT?! Then I started hitting the gym and my face would melt off. But fluidline? It stayed there. Even with puddles of sweat and a shower, didn't fade or flake.

I couldn't believe it! I then decided to get the matching brush, a 209 because my Sephora angled brush lived a good 4 or so years and was frayed and picking up too much product and destroying the fluidline. Plus I liked the look of the 209, looked precise. And its a freaking match made in makeup heaven.

So out of a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give Blacktrack Fluidline a 10! I'm loving it! And I hope I continue to *knock on wood!*!

002

Its a gel liner!

008

How much I pick up with my brush. Not that much! But it puts out....

009

....that much!!

Have you tried any fluidlines? Thoughts?

Ohmydamn.

School has never left me so mentally, physically and emotionally drained. I'm in my first semester of my Sophomore year of college and its only mid-October and I'm spent.

My nights are spent up until at least 2 am and then getting up anywhere from 6 to 7:30 depending on the day and attending class, doing assignments and studying.

Throw in extra-curriculars and that's my life. No time or money to go out to the mall, movies, etc. If I didn't enter this school year with so many great friends, I'd probably be screwed in the social life department. And the fact I rather not get wasted at disgusting Town Houses leaves me single.

So you can understand why this blog only sees weekly updates. As for beauty posts? I'm trying! I do not really have funds to throw away on makeup and any I get it's because its something I need like a fresh mascara to replace my stale one and you can sure bet its from CVS. I have such a long mental wish list of products I'd love to get at MAC or Sephora for when I have some disposable funds.

But that is so not here. Though I am tempted to splurge for just one MAC shadow because of its quality and the color's versatility...

Anywho.

I'm also sick! I got over whatever I had last week and got something new! Ugh!

I am planning on a few posts. I've got some ideas! I just need some time to take photos and write it all out.

Until then, follow me on Twitter! @xxChelseeea !! I do tweet alot, its procrasination-fatigue at its finest!

The Sickest Review in the History of Legally Strawberry Blonde!!!

Hey y'all!

HERE IS THE BEST REVIEW EVER. I had no idea how many people thought this product was awesome and wanted one until I tweeted about it.

That's right. THE SNUGGIE!!

The backwards bathrobe! The blankets with sleeves! The comfiest thing ever!!

So I'm sure ya know about it. You've seen it been mocked but I honestly wanted one since I first saw it. I'm a fan of comfort and blankets. And while I may not have a "drafty dorm room" (its actually 80* in my room, 50* outside) I still sometimes have the need for a blanket!

And come on! Who isn't a lazy ass when they're engulfed in the comfort of a blanket? Answer the phone with a blanket wrapped around me like a cocoon? Hell no! You want me to hold a baby? Sorry but no can do, I'm trapped in my blanket.

Well thank God we have the Snuggie. No more struggling with the complexity that are blankets.

I, of course, got mine in Pink. And was so damn excited. It is everything I thought it was and more. It is an oversized blanket with sleeves and by oversized I mean its HUGE! I'm 6 foot and it still has fabric on the ground when I stand up! Amazing!

The sleeves are also super long! And the material is beyond warm. Ever since I got my Snuggie, I have worn it to bed everynight over my pjs! Why? Because I'm a neat freak and hate unmaking my perfectly made bed! It kept me warm and comportable all night!

The only thing I can say that surpsied me about it, was that the material is thinner than I thought. But nonetheless it keeps you insulated.

Snuggies can be found almost everywhere. I got mine at Bed, Bath and Beyond for $14.95 and a 20% coupon! AND YOU STILL GET THE FREE BOOKLIGHT!

(Please excuse my hideousness, I'm getting over an allergic reaction, be thankful my eyes aren't swollen shut in these photos like they were the other day, haha!)

Snapshot_20091010

Comfy? Yes! Would I wear outside of my dorm? Probably not...maybe in my super cold class...haha jk?!

Snapshot_20091010_5

I already have an ass kicking book light, so I use mine for my purse. Awesomest use ever!

41bQGy+NLBL._SS500_

I have seen in Bed, Bath & Beyond, Target, Walmart, CVS, As Seen on TV store...

So do you have one? Want one? Tell me! And I do plan on getting one for my dog...(https://www.snuggiefordogs.com/flare/next)

Where You At?!

Hey y'all!

I just wanna do a little update about my whereabouts. This past week and a half I've been sick with some kind of crappy bug and yesterday I woke up with my eye swollen shut! Yeah, ew! I had an allergic reaction to something (don't know what) and my eyes looked like Swedish meatballs.

I'm feeling a wee bit better but I've been spending my night up late studying and its gonna get worse because midterms are this week!

But I'm hoping on one of my study breaks, I'll do a quick post! I have a few good ideas in mind!

Drama Curls!

I know in my old blog I did a post about curly hair but I wanted to redo it, and tell ya how I manage my thick, course, curly, wavy, pain in the ass hair!

024

Healthy hair is happy hair! I know..horrible!

1. DO NOT BRUSH YOUR HAIR
Unless you want to look like my golden retriever....which I do when a brush comes close to my hair! The brush will obviously destroy your curl and cause frizz and cause you're hair to poof like it never has before! For knots, I'll use a wide tooth comb while my hair has conditioner in it.

2. Feed your hair!
No, don't plant your hair in your dinner, silly. Give it moisture! The easiest way to do this is using shampoos and conditioners that are moisturizing. While you may be tempted to pick up a product that claims to smooth and de-frizz your hair, pick up something that will moisturize. Without moisture, you'll get frizz, fly-aways, dead ends and lifeless curls!
My recommendation: I'm a big fan of Garnier Fructis! Try their Moisture Works shampoo and conditioner. (I'm using the Pantene Moisutre Renewal now and HATE it! But I gotta finish it!)

3. Don't let shampoo scare you!
So many people no longer shampoo everytime they shower because many have claimed the shampoo strips hair of its natural oils. But this is how I see it. Would you put makeup on when you already makeup on? No! You'd remove it first! I think of shampoo as the same way if you use products in your hair. Water alone from the shower isn't enough to remove product from your but a nice lather of shampoo will. Just don't rinse and repeat (do bottles even say that anymore?!)! However if you don't use product then do what you feel best!

4. Leave your conditioner in!
While in the shower I leave my conditioner in for a good 3-5 minutes. This gives your hair time to drink it in. Also only condition your hair from the top of your ears and down, if you put too much on the top of your head it will weigh your hair down. One thing I do is when I'm done in the shower but before I get out I add a tiny spot of conditioner into my hair.

5. Do not towel dry!
Rubbing a towel on your wet locks will cause them to become frizzy and limp. You don't want to destroy any natural curls/waves! When I'm in the shower I'll just gently do a squeeze-scrunch or a squench do get extra water out but still leave it like sopping wet. And yes I'll then style it this way!

6. How I style!
I style my hair when it is WET. No drying medium other than my hands. I'll mix some leave in conditioner and a gel and then just scrunch my hair (upside down, for more volume!) for a minute or two and add more if I need to. Flip my hair over and then usually pin my bangs back! Really that's all! And I always get compliments on it when it took me less than 5 minutes!! I have huge, thick, course hair so I do have to use a lot of product so I tend to buy gels that are larger. One I have been using since Jr. High is LA Look's Curl. Its like under 4 bucks and will last me a month or two. Its either that or Garnier's Curl Scrunch gel but that lasts me around 3 weeks. And my leave in conditioner of choice is Garnier's Sleek & Shine leave in conditioner.

025

So curly haired girls, how do you deal with your hair? Any products or tips? I'd love to hear :)

Its Like a Freaking Ruby that Was Melted and Poured into a Nailpolish Container!

Hi guys!

I'm gonna do a review today on Zoya nailpolishes in the colors, Tori and Isla.

First a little background on Zoya, if there was such a thing as "eco-friendly" nail polish then this is it! I'm not a tree hugger but what caught my eye about Zoya was that its free of harsh chemicals like formaldehyde, toluene, dibutyl phtalate and camphor. Which is awesome do not have to worry about breathing in any of those harsh chemicals!

Onto the review!

Tori: After one coat it totally reminds me of Dorthy's slippers from the Wizard of Oz. Red with super mega sparkle! 2 coats and its true to the color in the bottle, a super pigmented mid-range red packed with a ton of sparkle!

011

Ignore my horrendous DIY manicure job. Focus on the color!

Isla: The title of this post is how I'd describe it. If you were to take a red almost blood red ruby and melt it, you'd get this polish color! It is beyond gorgeous and pigmented! For all ya crazy Twilight fans, this is sooo Vampirish. But honestly, the best way to describe it is a melted ruby.

021

Again, ignore my horrendous DIY pedicure job. This photo does no justice! Then again I was bent like a pretzel to take the photo!

The Polish: I left all my nail stuff at my house so I don't have any top coat but this still lasted a week! It dried relatively fast, but like all polishes, you still have to wait 30 or so minutes to let it dry sans a topcoat with a fast drying formula!

016

The Verdict: Once I have some spare money (psh, I'm in college...) I'd soo get more! The colors are so pigmented and gorgeous and reasonably priced for a Professional polish at $6 a bottle! They can be bought at salons that use Zoya and Zoya.com

023

Hey guys!

I just thought I'd do a little personal blog so you all know what is going on in my life at the moment.

Well, I am back in school! I have been for the past week! I'm all moved in and (photos in a past post) and settled into my classes.

For those of you who may not know, I'm a sophomore and a Criminal Justice major with Honors. And it has been so much work! Though I'm not enrolled in any honors courses (I was accepted into the program late in the summer, when all the good classes filled up!) I am taking a lot of classes for my major. My law, criminal justice and forensics classes are all very labor intensive classes, a TON of reading and note-taking! Its only been a week into classes and I've already been up studying until three in the morning. I'm also pre-law and have all that goodness to worry about too.

I just thought I'd fill you in, between beauty posts! Nothing too exciting in my life except studying all the time!!

Eyeliner Junkies Rejoice!

I have tried so many black eyeliners. Drugstore and high end. Because a good black eyeliner needs to do all of the following:

1. Be the blackest black ever
2. Stay put
3. Not fade
4. Be able to be removed easily
5. Apply without irritating your eye

Ladies, and maybe guys, I have found it!

L'oreal's Carbon Black Lineur Intense Felt Tip Eyeliner.

Phew. That's a mouth full. But a liquid liner that is beyond perfect for the upper lash-line. Yes, it is a liquid but it is a liquid for the liquid-challenged. Its long felt tip and even longer, almost ergonomically shaped, handle makes for easy precise application.

And once it is on, it stays on! I have been using this almost all summer and through the sweat, heat and humidity it didn't budge. It stay put and didn't fade until I removed it. And I'm talking like 10-12ish hours. Probably more.

Before I used the L.C.B.L.F.T.E (why don't I just recite the alphabet?) I'd been using the Revlon Colorstay pencil but my biggest problem was that midday, my eyeliner would transfer into my crease...uhm ew?! But since switching I haven't had that problem!

So, buy it or leave it? BUY IT! If you're a black eyeliner lover, you really should check it out!!

It is also in gold packaging for the colors other than "Carbon Black"

The thinner end of the wand is perfect for getting into the inner corner of your eye.

Swatch. I have been using the same one for a couple months and its still going strong!

The liner retails around $7-$9 depending on location, retailer and any deals. At drugstore.com can be found for $8.50. Link HERE

Anyone else tried it? Loved it?

Dorm!

Here are some better dorm pics! I love room decorating!

002

This is my little work area. Fully equipped with Hello Kitty pencils.

005

That is my beauty area. In the pink bag is pretty much all of my makeup that I use, and above I have various fragrances and my brush holder and A PSYCH MUG!

006

A fully loaded fridge.

010

My bed is maybe, MAYBE, a foot off the ground.

012

"Closet", please take note of the quotation marks.

001

Bathroom that we share with our neighbors.

So yes, when you have to go potty and someone is in the shower, or the other way around, then well, you learn patience.

Here we go again...

Today was move in day at my dorm. I love this dorm building! Its for collegiate feeling and I love that I only have to share the bathroom with four girls versus twenty! A perk of being in an honors building! Here are some pics of my dorm!

006

The view of my little cranny from the door. Smallest room I have ever lived in. Then again, this is a dorm.

007

I love pink.

008

Desk/Beauty/Multi-Tasker!!

And that is it for my half of the room haha
